Boom Truck Operator

MAIN PURPOSE: Working with signals crew distributing and transporting signal material and machinery. Working alongside crew on site as required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operating Hi-Rail boom truck and or other equipment Assist with other duties as assigned Loading/Unloading and securement of equipment and material Physical labour when required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Motivated self-starter Mechanically inclined Strong Organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently or Team player Railway experience would be an asset Prepared to be flexible with work schedule
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
AZ or DZ License with 1-3 years experience Clean criminal record Clean drivers abstract Working away from home Experience operating truck mounted crane / log loader Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs unassisted WORK ENVIRONMENT: Noise levels Indoor/Outdoor Fast pace and labour intensive All weather conditions Sitting/Standing varies on a daily basis Multiple responsibilities at any given time
