Shell & Whitmore Reliability Solutions is a 50/50 Joint Venture of Shell Lubricants and Whitmore manufacturing, formed in 2021 to provide industry expertise for the North American Rail and Mining Sectors. Combining Whitmore's patented Rail specific products with Shell's Industrial products portfolio and distribution network.  Our Canadian entity was formed in 2022, based in Alberta. 

Our portfolio includes:

• Locomotive Engine Oil and Locomotive specific products
• Shop, Fleet and Manufacturing Lubricants
• Friction Management 
  • Wayside Lubricators - Mechanical and Solar powered units for Wheel Flange Grease and Top of Rail

  • Rail Curve Grease (Wheel Flange Grease) specifically designed for Freight and in the Canadian climate
