Rail Gives Back
The Canadian Association of Railway Suppliers (CARS) is proud to launch Rail Gives Back, a new national volunteer initiative that brings together member companies from across Canada in support of the communities where they live and work.
Inspired by International Volunteer Day, Rail Gives Back encourages CARS members to participate in volunteer activities and community service projects during the first two weeks of December. The program is an opportunity for our industry to demonstrate its commitment to making a positive impact beyond the rail sector and to showcase the collective power of giving back.
Why Participate?
CARS members are already making meaningful contributions in their communities through volunteerism, charitable giving, environmental initiatives, mentorship, and community partnerships.
Rail Gives Back brings these efforts together under a shared national initiative, allowing companies to:
- Support causes that matter in their local communities
- Engage employees through volunteer opportunities
- Strengthen relationships with community organizations
- Showcase their commitment to corporate citizenship
- Be recognized as part of a national industry-wide campaign
Whether your team volunteers at a food bank, organizes a holiday donation drive, participates in a community clean-up, plants trees, supports a local charity, or lends professional expertise to a community organization, every effort makes a difference.
