Amendments to the Railway Safety Administrative Monetary Penalties Regulations

The purpose of this message is to advise you that the Railway Safety Administrative Monetary Penalties Regulations, which came into force April 1, 2015, have been amended to include designated provisions for the new Railway Safety Management System Regulations, 2015, as well as provisions for the Railway Safety Act requiring companies to have a Railway Operating Certificate. These amendments were published in the Canada Gazette, Part II on June 17, 2015 and are now in force.
