"Amtrak has become one of the most scenic ways to see the United States, offering routes that take passengers through mountain ranges, forests, coastlines, and even some of the biggest cities in the country. To reward frequent passengers, Amtrak offers a loyalty program called Amtrak Guest Rewards. However, travelers hoping to use their Amtrak Points on Canadian routes operated by VIA Rail are out of luck.
