Garneau set to urge House to undo Senate rewrite of transport law overhaul

When the curtain rises on the Commons Chamber this afternoon, Transport Minister Marc Garneau will have his first — and, depending on how the day unfolds, possibly only — opportunity to make his case against the Senate’s suggested changes to his proposed overhaul of the laws governing Canada’s rail and air transit system, which was sent back to the House last week.
