[Ottawa, December 1st, 2022]. The Canadian Association of Railway Suppliers (CARS) has named LinkUp International as the recipient of the 2022 Safety Award. This award recognizes initiatives in people safety, innovation, technological advancements, outstanding achievements, and any other positive influence a supplier has brought to improve the railway industry's overall safety.

LinkUp International was founded in 1996 by the late Mike Fritzel (formerly with BNSF). They are a manufacturing company and distributor of Locomotive Parts and custom-made Assemblies, mainly for Positive Train Control (PTC). They employ 55 people in 7 manufacturing and production buildings containing Fiber Lasers for sheet metal cutting, press brakes, robotic welders, CNC machining, and a fully automated Powder Coat paint facility. LinkUp International also has a Rail Services Division that performs Locomotive parts installations and Inspections.
