"A presentation was made at the City Council's Executive Meeting on Monday, asking for the City of Humboldt's support that would switch VIA Rail Service from the CN Main Line to the Prairie North Line which runs through Humboldt. Lloydminster Mayor Gerald Aalbers attended the meeting via video conference as a delegate. Speaking as a member of the Prairie North Rail Passenger Transportation Incoroprated Society, Aalbers explained that the group is made up of mayors, business leaders, and First Nations representatives interested in restoring VIA Rail service to the Prairie North Line..."
