Universal Rail Systems is very pleased to announce that Ed Persico has joined their group of companies as Vice-President Operations East. Ed will be located in the Bolton, Ontario office and lead URS’s operation in the Eastern region during this momentous period of growth in transit infrastructure investment.
Ed brings to URS over 27 years of leadership experience within the construction sector in the Canadian market. He previously served as General Manager for Dufferin Aggregates, a Division of CRH Canada,one ofCanada’s largest vertically integrated building materials and construction companies with more than $1B in revenue. Mr. Persico holds a Master of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Science for Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
With the addition of Ed to our executive team in the East region, we are pleased to announce that Pat O’Neill will be transitioning back to Western Canada where he will serve as Vice-President Operations West. Pat will be located in the Sherwood Park, Alberta office.
